My Podcast Interview with The Happy Holy Hour

Personal Blog

Published on June 04, 2021

I recently had the pleasure of being on the Happy Holy Hour Podcast with Tyler and Travis to speak about “Creativity in the Christian Life”. They’re both excellent podcast hosts and brought up some great questions in our interview. I met Tyler through the Facebook Group – Reformed Creatives – where I’ve been able to engage with other Reformed Christian creatives to share ideas, posts, podcasts, creativity and encouragement. It’s been such a joy to find other creative Christians who are also passionate for sound theology!

In the podcast, I talk a bit about my story and how THEOTIVITY got started. We also talked about the theology of creativity – what it is, is it important to God, is it at odds with theology? We wrapped it up talking a bit about the practical side of creativity – how can it be used to glorify God, what are some pitfalls and how can people who don’t necessarily consider themselves “creatives” benefit from this discussion.

It was such a joy to spend some time chatting with Tyler and Travis and I hope you enjoy the conversation and find it edifying! Check out the Happy Holy Hour below and consider subscribing and supporting their project to bring sound theology to everyday life.

About The Happy Holy Hour

From their website:

“The Happy Holy Hour is a reformed Christian podcast dedicated to seeing Christians everywhere understand who God is while living in a culture bent on destroying Him. We talk about difficult topics like Church culture, Christian living, and Biblical Authority. We don’t have all the answers, so we learn by asking questions, having discussions, and ultimately relying on the Word of God. Our goal is to see Christians become more confident in their Christian faith through Biblical examination, sound teaching, and insightful discussions. Tune in weekly as new episodes are posted every Monday!”
